What this covers
A migration changes the plumbing: a new CMS, a new host, a new domain, or all three. Even when the design stays the same, small details can do real damage, like URLs that change shape, missing redirects, lost meta data, images left behind, or a robots setting copied from staging that tells Google not to index the new site.
Every migration we run starts with a full crawl of the current site and an export of its search performance. Each URL gets mapped to its new location. Content, metadata, images, and structured data are moved and checked. DNS changes are planned with low TTLs so the switch is quick, and email is left untouched unless it's moving too.
After launch we re-crawl the old URL list to confirm every redirect works, monitor Search Console for errors, and compare traffic and rankings against the pre-migration baseline in the weeks that follow.
