Next.js is a React framework that renders pages on the server or at build time, so visitors and search engines get real HTML quickly instead of waiting for JavaScript to assemble the page. It's what we use for sites with thousands of pages, headless stores, and products that mix marketing pages with logged-in features.
It isn't the right tool for everyone. A small business that wants to edit its own pages is usually better served by WordPress. We recommend Next.js when there's a real reason: performance targets, a custom data source, a product team that already works in React, or a plan to grow into app features later.
